This is the assignment I am the most proud of so far for this semester.
I know I’ve probably made other things of better quality; however, the creativity I put behind this (and the story) makes it my favorite.
I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again–I love to tell my story by showing those around me and the impact they have on my life. Today, we will be focusing on my friend Nathan. Nathan is a quiet, yet comedic, young soul who loves chocolate milk. He is the most entertaining person I know, while simultaneously speaking in one liners and giving me the best advice anyone ever could. But more recently I’ve learned Nathan loves Reese’s Puffs just as much as he loves his one liners, chocolate milk, and Lil Yachty.
Over the past two weeks I have watched Nathan go through not one, not two, but three, boxes of the Lil Yachty special edition of Reese’s Puffs. The man loves his cereal. So, when I was looking through what I could do this week and saw I could design a cereal box, I knew exactly what I was going to do… design him his own box of Reese’s Puffs.
I quickly went through my photos of Nathan and picked my favorites. Then, I turned to the internet for photos of Nathan’s favorite cereal. I put the pictures into PicsArt and got rid of the backgrounds in the pictures of Nathan. After, I messed with the layout until I got it the way I wanted, and I added the final touch of adding Nathan’s name at the top of the box.
Nathan is as important to me as his Reese’s Puffs are to him. He got a good laugh when I showed him the final product (especially because he had no clue I was doing it). I’m glad I got to use this project as a way to show my appreciation for him.
