Today I wanted to display the places where I feel at most peace. I tend to overthink a lot, so when I find something that can bring me an ultimate sense of calm, I turn to it a lot.
I’ve found that the beach, the sunrise, nature hikes, and evening drives bring me the most sense of clarity in my life. I usually go to these places to get a temporary escape from the real world and just think. It allows me to just be.
It helps me accept what I can and can’t change– what I should be worrying about and what I shouldn’t.
This is a big part of my story, but not one that I share with many people. I love taking time to myself to think, but no one ever really sees when I do… and I think I like it that way.
